UNIT 3 REFLECTION BLOG

Well well well, this course has been a really interesting and a fun course, yet hard in a way. When I first started it was easy and it got harder to the end. I honestly thought I was going to drop out in the middle of the semester but I said to myself I can do this: D
Starting out with the first project, picking out a topic was easy, but sticking with the same topic for the rest of the semester got a little bit tricky and hard. But I handled it like a big girl lol. Learning to use Dreamweaver was the best part, and designing everything. I liked that so much, and learned a lot. This course has taught me a lot in life honestly, and into being a better writer, and most important by revising are projects. We got to learn from our mistakes and making our projects better. I struggled a little bit at the end of the course, because of my own reasons, but hopefully my revision would bump me up to at least a B or low A hopefully. I got to meet the coolest people in the class, Marc, Marcos, Tabatha and Megan.
My teacher Crystal is a very cool person, really enjoyed her class. The class helper Rachel helped me out a lot, thank you. She a very good aid and she knows everything about Dreamweaver. I’m not sure what else I could talk about, this class has been fun overall, and I don’t think I have to take another English course, because of my major, and thank god for that. Moreover, the three units were very fascinating. Oh I forgot to talk about the podcast, I loved it, I think it was so cool to record are voices and actually talk about something, and I felt so professional. Thank u again Crystal for teaching our class, it was fun having you around. I would have probably struggled if I had an older teacher, you are really understanding.

MM Webtext Reflection Blog

This project has been a fun project. I really enjoyed working on it, and putting things together. It has taught me to be into a much better writer and putting my thoughts and ideas together. Picking out my topic was a little bit hard, after changing it 3 times, but I finally came to the decision on doing the life of Coco Chanel. A lot of people do not know much about her, and only know her by name. My audiences are everyone who is interested on knowing more about Coco Chanel, and the time line of her life. My purpose of my MM web text is to inform everyone who is Chanel and the life after Chanel. My organization was set as a time frame, from the time she was born, until she died. I believe that my assignment is well suited to web-reader, because a lot of people I’m sure would want to know more about Chanel and all of her accomplishments and what she has done in her life. A lot of people take Chanel as a Role Model to them. I am so proud of my layout, I really enjoyed working on it, putting pictures together, and making everything look so perfect. Honestly if I had more time, I would have made the layout more different and played around with Dreamweaver, I know there is so much stuff that I do not know how to do on the program, but couple of my classmates helped me. (Tabatha, Marcos, Marc, Rachel-thank you). I have done a lot of research for this project; I would have probably interviewed someone that knew so much about Chanel, and I would have added another section talking about it. Moreover, I really enjoyed working on this project, and putting everything together. It really did teach me so many things. I learned a lot from this class. :D

Conference..

my slide show is going pretty good, besides my voice isn't that good...but it will be good for the actuall due date...on my conference, i will discuss if i used windows movie maker right, and if i'm on the right track..
other than that...everything else is going awesome :D

So Far on Slideshow/webtext

WOW!!!so far, my slideshow is going pretty good, i'm honestly been focusing on it this whole week more than the webtext...just trying to make it perfect. i found alot of information from glamour magazine, it gave me ideas for my slide show...still finishing it up..
but when it comes to my webtext i'm still working on make it into a masterpiece...i'm actually really enjoying doing this..so ya that's about it..

Slideshow/webtext

My slideshow is going pretty good so is my webtext...my topic is amazing, and i just have so much to talk about..i was going to do the history of france..but bssshhh i got bored looking for info. so i changed my mind to chanel..i found so much information and so many intresting things, i'm really excited about doing it tell you the truth..i'm just a little behind, but i'll be back on track by the end of this week...hopefully you guys will enjoy it as much as i'm enjoying doing it..

MM webtext

I just my idea from doing brand names...into doing Chanel...
I was thinking of doing my webtext about the history of chanel...and the slideshow, put in couple of pictures where they have their runway, couple of models. But i've been having so much trouble working on it this week, it sucks so bad. I need more time to work on it and put things together, and that is what i will be doing after class tomorrow. :D but i am in the process of working on my slide show right now...

Podcast Reflection :D

My podcast was about Tom ford who is a fashion designer. My focus was to talk about Tom ford, and talk about his life, because a lot of people do not know who he is. My audience is everyone who is interested on knowing more about Tom Ford, his life, achievements and accomplishments he has done in his life. The purpose I wrote this podcast, because Tom Ford is a very interesting guy, and what he has done in his life. He is a motivating fashion designer; and what he have accomplished in his life, and gone through so much. He is one of my favorite fashion designers. The design that I chose to do, was I made the background pink and I put a picture of Tom Form. Also, when I started my podcast I played a song by Bob Sinclair, because I thought it is runway music and just goes perfect with the theme that I was trying to cover I was so glad to know how to record a podcast; I thought it was really nice learning new things every day. My organization of my script went by a time line, since he was born till what he is doing right now in 2008. I’m so proud that I had done more research and learned more about Tom Ford, I did not know much much about him. I got to experience what he has done more in his life. I thought this assignment is well suited to web reader is because a podcast now is more useful to readers then reading an article. They would rather hear a podcast then read a really long article. If I honestly had more time, I would have worked on the music more, because I had some difficulties trying to get it to work. I turned it in earlier as well, because I had work, and I would not be able to get it on time. The sources I have used helped me a lot to make my podcast into a good presentable podcast. Overall, I really enjoyed recording a podcast and I think I did pretty well, beside my voice, I was laughing the whole time wanted it to sounds more enthusiastic. I really hope you guys will enjoy it as much as I did.

New Idea for Podcast

Alright alright...i changed my mind..
I'm going to do my podcast about Tom Ford, he is a fashion designer..
i think that should be interesting, because he did a lot of accomplishments in his life...and he helped out for Gucci..so i think it is a good topic to podcast it about...

Podcast

i am going to go more in depth about maybe one type of cultural fashion, an intresting one. Because i feel that alot of people, make fun of others about the way they dress. which is really sad, because alot of people have different cultural styles, and grew up differently then others. So maybe doing a podcast about it, it will change peoples view about others and the way they dress. Like i said fashion is important. and hopefully i will find information, and what i am looking for. and this is only a thought...

*Reflection*

I did my Webtext about FASHION!!! I think I did pretty well, even though I had to add more things to it...but I did not have too much time, I work so much :(, and I know that should not come in the way of my school work, but as far as I did, I like it. I think fashion is really important, I obviously care about clothes a lot. But I am hoping that everyone enjoyed it, and learned something from it. I made it interesting as far as I think. And I honestly enjoyed using Dreamweaver; I think it was pretty cool. I used a lot of pictures that showed what my topics were about, and I thought my background was really cute and fashionable. I wanted to put a video, but I could not find one that I was really looking for. I learned more about the Karen Padaung Thailand people, how the brass ring, I think that is kind of out of the ordinary, and really uncomfortable. But I guess it is the culture. The henna designs are really cute I think, and I know a lot of Indian girls who does them. I got a little flower on my hand once at the mall, which was really exciting. But other than that I am really proud of my Mc Hammer Pants part, I thought of it in the last minute, and I do not know how it came to my mind, but I thought it was fascinating. I put down the different places where you can get fashion from, and learn more about it. But I honestly should have really put more work to it, but I did pretty fine I think. And covered everything I thought I should cover. I hope everyone liked it, as much as I did: D

WebText

I've been working on my webtest lately...I found alot of cool pictures to put in my presentation to make it more intresting. I'm thinking about putting a video about fashion, maybe a runway or something else, but i'm not sure yet. I wrote 2 pages of info, i think i have to write a little bit more, but i'm still decideing on that. But my webtext is developing, and in my confrence on wednesday i will propably talk about how to use dreamweaver, i'm kinda trying to get the hang of it, but i will maybe need help on it. But everyone needs to know about fashion, because it is improtant in everyone's life. :D
